Sheet Metal Workers

Sheet metal workers create, maintain, repair and install items made out of sheet metal, the thin metal sheets that are used in roofing, gutters and more. Depending on the job, sheet metal workers must study blueprints or plans, take careful measurements to figure out how much material will be needed on site. Sheet metal workers use special computerized metal cutting and processing equipment to bend, cut and manipulate materials into the shape and size needed for the jobs. In addition, they use hand tools to finish off pieces before final installation.

Our roofing laborers/sheet metal workers primarily work on commercial roofing projects and some specialty home projects. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have reliable transportation to the shop, ability to lift 60 lbs. and work heights up to 30'. Applicants must also be able to travel out of state and be able to stay overnight out of town. We also work some Saturdays in the busy season. No prior experience is necessary, but helpful.
